A Letter from Artemis

E-mail

Dear Friends of Folk Tours;

Artemis "I am so happy that Tayyar has found a lovely place for the next camp this May. It is going to be a superb camp this year with lots of wonderful teachers, dancers, musicians, classes and shows. I wish I could be a part of it. But my family situation is such that I cannot make the same time consuming commitment to Folk Tours that I have done in the past. As you can imagine, Folk Tours is a huge, full time job and I worked on it all year. But now between my touring schedule and caring for my aging parents, I just do not have the time for Folk Tours anymore. However, I wholeheartedly support the event and the Festival in Turkey and Tayyar and his great classes at Nourhan's studio. I will miss you all and I will be at all of these events with you in spirit. I am so glad that Folk Tours lives on and that our vision continues...to use music and dance to build bridges across cultures.

With Affection; Artemis Mourat
