Turkish Romany (Gypsy)
Reyhan still lives in the same Romany neighborhood where she was born in Istanbul. She learned to dance from her family and friends and soon became noted in her community for her skill and expertise.
She is quite well known in Istanbul and has taught many famous Turkish Oriental dancers as well as foreigners. She teaches the Romany style of dance employing tradional movements and steps. Reyhan teaches it like a Gypsy : on a very simple, repetitive and traditional way.
